It had to happen - Tigers won't win all the Open Sen games. Still it was a close defeat. Fujinami started and gave up one unearned run. Fighters got two runs off the pitching of Kazuo Itoh who was unable to cope with the situaiton. Tigers runs came from the bats of Yamato and Nishioka - final score 3-2. Fujinami's start was encouraging though and he is certain to start in the rotation when the season starts.
