Well, the cats have hit the skids, losing their fourth straight game, suffering a tough 3-2 loss tonight to the Buffaloes at the Jo.

And while I was singing the praises of the bullpen last week, over the past few days the pen has been brutal. Tonight, it was Hideaki Wakui's turn to ruin a beautifully pitched game by Taka Kishi. Wakui coughed up a 2-1 lead in the 9th with the key at-bat going to the B's T-Okada. He must have fouled off a dozen pitches before lacing one off the wall in left, scoring the tying run. Randy Williams then came in and gave up a sac fly, and that was the ballgame.

The Leos have now lost four straight to the two worst teams in the league. Shape up guys, or you won't win this thing!
