Aoki Breaks CL Hit Record
[ Author: Jingu Bleacher Bum | Posted: Oct 6, 2005 6:40 PM | YAK Fan ]

During his first at bat against the Chunichi Dragons at Jingu Stadium on October 6th, Aoki lined a 1-1 pitch into left field for hit number 193, breaking the 192 hits record held by Bobby Rose. Congratulations Aoki. I know 200 is still 7 more hits away, but only 1 other person in NPB history has done it, Ichiro Suzuki, and that's saying something right there.
