WBC Makes Some Announcements on Eve of Olympics
During the same week the Olympics announced it's baseball rule change in comes the World Baseball Classic promising to be bigger and better than last time. I don't see the WBC missing this opportunity - it's going to attempt to seize the moment.

I understand why the IBAF instituted the rules - regardless of how preposterous they are - but at the same time it just made more excited the next WBC after the first one was so surprisingly good.

I haven't cared about the Olympics since I was a little kid, so I honestly couldn't care less if they're re-instituted. Get to see more teams (even more in 2013) and the majority of the best players this way.
