Bobby V. Sending Out Feelers to MLB
Mets: Bobby Valentine, 58, is sending out feelers to return to the U.S. to manage. He makes $1.5 million per year managing the Chibe Lotte Marines but appears to be growing weary of Japan and would love to return home to manage.

If this is true, then I'm very disappointed in Bobby V. And no matter what he says about being happy and content managing in Japan, it's obvious that he's itching to get back to the major leagues.

Considering that he mailed it in this season, I don't think Marines fans will be too disappointed to see him leave.

I'll take Bobby at his word when he says that he's happy here in Japan. 3 sentences or so with vague references in some little unknown newspaper is not enough to sway me. Seems to me like someone is stirring the pot.
