Japanese Major League Equivalents

Discussion in the Nichi-Bei forum
Japanese Major League Equivalents
I just finished my annual article on the major league equivalents of players who are free agents [Baseball Guru], likely to be posted, or are "players to watch." I'll spare the details, but I'm using new standards for the "players to watch," and so there's a lot more coverage on this topic. Enjoy!

I've realized there's a small problem with the way my method calculates ER (and thus has an impact on ERA), especially for guys who allow very few runs. I'll be modifying those aspects of the article shortly.
About

This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.

It is my sincere hope that once you learn a bit about what we're about here that you will join the community of contributors.
