As you probably saw, the Rockies signed him to a minor league deal. It's ironic that he went back to where he should have stayed in the first place! He had the chance before to play in a great hitters' ballpark (Coors Field) and play on a young and exciting team, but he took the biggest contract offer and went to Houston, a team going nowhere. Hope he can recover from all his injuries and help the Rockies again.

This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.
