Pro Yakyu Goods
While in Japan, I looked all over for a Nippon Ham Fighters' replica jersey with no luck. Seattle Mariners' and LA Dodgers' gear were in abundance, but little or no Japanese team jerseys. I found a great site on the internet for this. If you are looking for replica jerseys, check out I am wearing my Ham Fighters' jersey as I type and loving it!!

The most rewarding way that I have built up my NPB collection is through relationships I have made with fellow Japanese and American baseball fans. More important than acquiring "goods," I have established life-long friendships. The drawback is that what you receive may not always be what you wanted, but the Japanese spirit of generosity is priceless.

There were places in Japan such as the ToDo (Tokyo Dome) Shop that carried jerseys and jackets of all teams the last time I was there.

This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.

It is my sincere hope that once you learn a bit about what we're about here that you will join the community of contributors.
