Pudge to Japan?
According to USAToday's Sportsweekly, Ivan "Pudge" Rodriguez, the 1999 AL MVP and 10 time gold glove winner, has a $40 million offer from an undisclosed Japanese team that he may take in favor of a 3-year $18 million offer from Baltimore.

Pudge will not be heading to Japan. According to the AP, the Florida Marlins and Rodriguez have agree to $10 million, one-year contract, which includes a no-trade clause and an agreement that the Marlins will not offer him salary arbitration after the season.
