2007-8 Free Agents Interested in MLB

2007-8 Free Agents Interested in MLB
As most of you know this is the actual list of free agents for 2007-8 off season. Those of you who still think that Uehara is a free agent, please read the list. And any source that says that Uehara is a free agent doesn't know what they're talking about. Ignore them.

The list that everyone wants is that of free agents interested in moving to the MLB. Well, today's Nikkan Sports (paper version) has The List of players who have expressed such interest and are free agents.

Is this the definitive list? No. It's speculation on the part of the Nikkan Sports writers. Might others also be interested? Yes. Might some on this list decide to stay with their team? Yes.

Now, the list:

Giants
P Maeda Yukinaga

Dragons
OF Fukudome Kosuke

Tigers
P Shimoyanagi Tsuyoshi

Carp
P Kuroda Hiroki

Marines
P Yabuta Yasuhiko
P Kobayashi Masahide

Eagles
P Fukumori Kazuo

Free agents have 7 business days starting yesterday (November 2) to declare free agency if they wish. That means that the final list of players who actually declare will be published after November 12. I will post something about free agents again when that list comes out. Until then, enjoy your speculations.

According to this post on mlbtraderumors.com, Hiroki Kuroda is expected to file for free agency on Monday.

There is an article that goes along with it, but it is in Japanese, so I can't really read it. This post also has updates on a few others.
