Craig Brazell May be Coming to NPB

Discussion in the Rumor Mill forum
Craig Brazell May be Coming to NPB
Craig Brazell, who was one of the top home run hitters in the AAA PCL, may be headed to Japan after being released by the KC Royals. The former Met first base prospect never caught on with the Mets - or the Royals.

Here are his stats: The Baseball Cube.

He's not bad. He can hit for power. He might turn out to be a very good NPB player if he steps in the water and remembers to soap up first.

I mentioned this earlier in a post back in early October.

I agree, he could turn out to be a very good NPB hitter, if he's willing and able to adapt to NPB.

Craig Brazell would make a fine addition to anyone's roster needing a power hitter, NPB or MLB. He also has proven to be a solid first baseman. I hope that the NPB embraces this fine young man. He deserves a shot somewhere.
