First Ever One-Game Playoff in CPBL
On July 21, the Chinese Professional Baseball League will have its first ever one-game playoff. The game will decide the winner of the first half in which the Sinon Bulls and Makoto Cobras both had a 28-20-2 record.

At the end of the season, the first half winner and second half winner face off in the seven game Taiwan Series. Of course, then there's the Asian club Championships.

More on the Konami Cup 2005 (Asian Series) can be found in this thread and on the official NPB site (in English).
About

This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.

It is my sincere hope that once you learn a bit about what we're about here that you will join the community of contributors.
