Brett Laxton in CPBL

Brett Laxton in CPBL
The President Lions have signed 33 year old right hander Brett Laxton and assigned him to their minor league team. In 2005 Laxton was 15-3 with a 3.39 ERA in 26 starts with the Camden Riversharks of the Atlantic League.

I remember watching him pitch with the Vancouver Canadians of the Triple-A Pacific Coast League in 1999. They won the Triple-A World Series in what turned out to be the final year of Triple-A baseball in Vancouver which now have the Single-A Canadians.

About

This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.

It is my sincere hope that once you learn a bit about what we're about here that you will join the community of contributors.
