College Championships Broadcasts
Nikkan Sports has an article that states that JSports (CS and cable in Japan) will be carrying all of the games for the 2007 All Japan College Championships at Jingu Kyujyo (the university level Koshien tournament). The tournament will be held for six days starting June 12.

The big attraction this year will be Waseda's Saitoh, who won the High School Nationals at Koshien last summer and chose to continue studying rather than enter the pros. Hardly a day goes by without an update on "Yu-chan" or "the Handkerchief Prince" in the press.

The "Hankercheif Prince" is a very strong compitor. I umpired a game in Cooperstown, NY in August 2006. He has very good location of his pitches. I wish him the best of luck in playing college baseball.

I would also like his college team to come to Cooperstown and play against a strong division 1 team from the U.S.
