Yan and Darwin Not to be Re-Signed

Yan and Darwin Not to be Re-Signed
Following on from Sheets, Hanshin are also getting rid of Yan (no surprise) and Darwin. The batting coach team will also be beefed up - candidates are Yagi and Kataoka.

Releasing Yan hardly comes as a surprise, but releasing Cubillan sure does.

Surely, Hanshin could of used Cubillan out of middle relief or something.

There has to be someone who could possibly be interested in Cubillan. Like Gary Garland points out over at Japan Baseball Daily, Orix is already expressing interest in Cubillan. He has to be an upgrade over Lance Carter.
