Yoshii To Retire, Become Fighters Pitching Coach
Chiba Lotte Marines pitcher Masato Yoshii, will retire and join the Hokkaido Nippon Ham Fighters to become the pitching coach.

Yoshii went 89-82 with 62 saves and a 3.86 ERA in 385 games in a 17 year career with the Kintetsu Buffaloes, Yakult Swallows, Orix BlueWave (later the Orix Buffaloes), and the Chiba Lotte Marines. He also went 32-47 with a 4.62 ERA in a 5 year major league career.
