Yakult Signs Rios
The Yakult Swallows signed pitcher Daniel Rios [Korean Baseball - in Korean] to a one year contract worth $950,000 with an option for a second year.

Rios went 22-5 with a 2.07 ERA in 33 games with the Doosan Bears. He led the KBO in wins and ERA, while winning the KBO MVP and gold glove for pitcher. Rios [Baseball-Reference] has a 90-59 record with a 3.01 ERA in 215 games over 6 years with Kia and Doosan.

Rios also played with the New York Yankees and Kansas City Royals, pitching in 7 games.
