September 3rd - Depressing batting

Discussion in the Tiger Tails forum
September 3rd - Depressing batting
BayStars still struggled to score in this game as well despite Iwata having an off day. Unfortunately Tigers batting also had an off day and failed miserably to dent their rather mediocre opponent. These things happen though. Umeno did some good work to tag out the runner in the fifth but BayStars had the game sewn up by then. In fact the Tigers batting basically gave up and surrendered pathetically to Yamaguchi. It really was rather dismal to watch. Final score 3-1 BayStars but like the game before they were there for the taking. This time Tigers didn't do any taking.
About

This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.

It is my sincere hope that once you learn a bit about what we're about here that you will join the community of contributors.
