A turnaround

Discussion in the Tiger Tails forum
A turnaround
At last a complete game shut out to really celebrate. Fujinami was quite simply awesome. Nine innings on only 100 pitches with two walks and one hit. Too often these things take over 120 pitches and more so this level of economy is very welcome. Rakuten were only able to get one runner to second as well Tigers were that dominant. Tigers runs came from Fukudome and Gomez ground outs and a Toritani home run giving a 3-0 victory. This also gives Tigers the rubber. Haraguchi was back to hitting today going 2-4 on the night. It's puzzling though why he isn't occupying the No. 5 slot anymore instead of Kanoh.
About

This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.

It is my sincere hope that once you learn a bit about what we're about here that you will join the community of contributors.
