Kazumi Saitoh First in NPB with 2 Career 14 Game Winning Streaks
Softbank pitcher Kazumi Saitoh became the first pitcher in NPB history to have two 14+ game winning streaks in his career, with his 14th win of the 2005 season on August 24th against the Chiba Lotte Marines. Other than Saitoh's current winning streak, he also had a 16 game winning streak back in 2003.

Kazuhisa Inao of the Nishitetsu Lions, and Tadashi Sugiura of the Nankai Hawks had two 13+ game winning streaks. How far will Saitoh's current winning streak stretch?
