Modasho

Discussion in the Records and Milestones forum
Modasho
Ichiro just had back-to-back 4-hit games, July 20-21, 2004. I am wondering how many career modasho games (NPB+MLB) he has already; he must be a serious contender for the all-time record of 251 held by Isao Harimoto.

Also, I would be grateful if anyone can provide modasho numbers for any former/current NPB players, and the all-time leaders. All I have now are Harimoto (251), Wakamatsu (159), Tatsunami (158), Koji Yamamoto (158), Yazawa (154), Kenjiro Nomura (136), and Kinugasa (135). These were extracted from Gary Garland's new site.

Thanks in advance for any info provided. It's not easy to find this information!
About

This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.

It is my sincere hope that once you learn a bit about what we're about here that you will join the community of contributors.
