Who Authors Japan Baseball Daily?

Who Authors Japan Baseball Daily?
Just wondering aloud here. I find that Japan Baseball Daily is an indispensable tool for the English-speaking fan, and I wanted to know whom to thank. The daily reports keep me abreast of everything NPB and the picture links save me countless hours of culling through the sports dailies.

I searched the site, but did not see an author credit page (unless I missed it). Along with this site, Japan Baseball Daily is a must read every day.

That would be Gary Garland, aka Aladdinsane.

He had his own web site, something about a phychodelic teddy bear, where he wrote about Pro Yakyu for quite a while, then started writing regularly here on JapaneseBaseball.com for about a year. After that, he started writing as the "Japanese Insider" for BaseballGuru.com. Then he branched out on his own again with JapanBaseballDaily.com.

Yes, his site is a great complement to what you'll find here. And he's a lot more insightful than most of the mainstream English press.
About

This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.

It is my sincere hope that once you learn a bit about what we're about here that you will join the community of contributors.
