Yakult's New Uniforms

Yakult's New Uniforms
I guess you could call this another slow day at the office (school).

When I came on the Internet here at work today, this [Yahoo! Japan Headlines] was the first image that came up on Yahoo Japan.

Now, I didn't know that the Swallows were getting new uniforms. I am probably slow to realize this, but regardless, I have to say that I'm not very impressed. Getting rid of the blue visitor jersey is a bad thing IMHO.

I have the impression that teams change uniforms more often now days than they used to before. Do teams change uniforms more often because various teams know that if you change uniforms the fans will then also buy new uniforms and then the team will be making more money?

The Yakult away uniforms were sweet. I also didn't like the pin stripes of Yakult and the old YS logo they used to have on their hats. But with time, when you get used to the new uniforms they start to look alright.

I still think Marines have got the worst away uniforms, and I'm a Marines fan.

Marines have 3 uniforms, is this to make fans buy all 3? This is what I'm starting to wonder. Then last year, the Marines played in the retro Lotte uniforms, and then the entire stadium also was wearing the old style jerseys. This must mean extra money into the Lotte organization.

Correction. I meant to say. I liked the pin stripes of Yakult Swallows and the old YS logo on the hat.
