Rakuten's Ichiba dealt to Yakult in trade
The Rakuten Eagles have agreed to trade right-hander Yasuhiro Ichiba to the Yakult Swallows for outfielder Ryuji Miyade, the teams said Monday.

Hmmm. I'm not sure this was the best decision. While the Swallows do need pitching, I feel that if Kawashima stays healthy, and the young fireballer Sato progresses smoothly, they'll have a nice rotation with Ishikawa in there as well. Miyade was always a potential long ball threat, so I hope the Swallows have someone else in mind that can pinch hit with some pop.
