Johjima headed back to Japan

Discussion in the Open Talk forum
Johjima headed back to Japan
Just saw that Kenji has opted out of his contract with the Mariners to return to Japan.
It's too bad, he had a couple of good seasons for us, but just couldn't mesh with the pitchers.
He also struggled with the bat in 2008 and really didn't have a chance to be successful last year, due to several circumstances.
But I'm sure he will help a NPB team greatly, so who will pick him up for 2010?
Good luck Kenji!

well he signed with Hanshin for about 5-oku/year for 4 years (about $20m @ 100 yen / $). Hopefully he'll fare better than Iguchi.
