I am student of Sport Faculty in the Czech Republic and I need to find out for my bacelours work how many adult Japanese players are registered in the Japan Baseball Federation. Could anyone please answer?

The "Japan Baseball Federation" sounds a lot like the Baseball Federation of Japan [Wikipedia] (hereinafter referred to as BFJ), which is the head of amateur baseball in Japan.

I appears that the BFJ is a sub-committee of the Japan Amateur Baseball Association (JABA). The information about BFJ on the JABA site seems to be limited to the organization's bylaws, a list of board members, some schedules for international competition, and a few PDFs of news releases.

As with most long standing bureaucratic organizations in Japan, they have not yet entered the 21st century with regard to communication. So I my recommendation to you is to send a FAX to JABA asking for an updated number of amateur adult baseball players in Japan. The FAX number is in the lower-right hand corner of this page. If anyone is able to help you, that's the place.

Gambatte.
