Not yet, Sara. Not sure there is a U.S. market for it, but in any event I would need a couple of more multi-part essays to bring it all up to book length. Thanks for your interest.

This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.
It is my sincere hope that once you learn a bit about what we're about here that you will join the community of contributors.

- Are Robert Whiting's excellent 4-part essays for the Japan Times ("The MLB Effect," "The Valentine Era," "Hideo Nomo") available in book format, either in English or Nihongo? I've been cutting and pasting them off the internet but would rather have a nice volume on the shelf -- hope that happens.
- Also, has the ESPN movie "The Zen of Bobby V" ever come out on DVD, either in the USA or Japan?
