Off-season reading and viewing

Off-season reading and viewing
Hope the off-season finds you well and rested! I am catching up on my NPB research, and have two questions:
  1. Are Robert Whiting's excellent 4-part essays for the Japan Times ("The MLB Effect," "The Valentine Era," "Hideo Nomo") available in book format, either in English or Nihongo? I've been cutting and pasting them off the internet but would rather have a nice volume on the shelf -- hope that happens.
  2. Also, has the ESPN movie "The Zen of Bobby V" ever come out on DVD, either in the USA or Japan?
Thanks for any help you can render.

Not yet, Sara. Not sure there is a U.S. market for it, but in any event I would need a couple of more multi-part essays to bring it all up to book length. Thanks for your interest.
