Discussion in the Ask the Commish forum
Craig Muschko
I have a question about a friend of mine who went over there he told me Yakult was interested in him. They were going to put him through some tests.

His name is Craig Muschko. Could you up date me on his status over there?

I'm afraid that I've been unable to find any mention of a Craig Muschko in the press here.

Do you know about what time frame this was scheduled? Many plans have been called off or postponed after the big earthquake and tsunami a couple weeks ago. Yakult has been working to secure a stadium for its home games that doesn't require lights the past couple of weeks, so looking at other players may not have been high on the priority list.

Most foreigners appear to have fled the capital (most with permission from their teams, some - Saitama Seibu Lions - without) under fear of a nuclear melt down. Many have since returned, but not all.

Wish I had more news.

This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.

It is my sincere hope that once you learn a bit about what we're about here that you will join the community of contributors.
