阪神今岡がプロ１２年目で、自身最速となるオープン１号を放った。２点ビハインドの４回までオリックス金子に打線はノーヒット。初球、真ん中高めのスライダーを迷わず振り抜くと、左翼ポール際ギリギリに着弾するソロとなった。「（オープン戦の）早い段階で打ちたかったんで。ランナーいるいないに関係なく、ああいうふうに積極的にいければ、ね。とにかく早い段階でホームランが打てたんで、それに尽きますよ」。
