怪物が史上初弾をかっ飛ばした。日本ハムの高校生ドラフト１巡目ルーキー中田翔内野手（１８＝大阪桐蔭）が１日、オープン戦初戦の横浜戦に７番一塁で先発出場。第１打席で高崎から「手応え完ぺき」の、推定飛距離１３０メートルの左越えソロを放った。ドラフト制後、高卒ルーキーがチームのオープン戦初戦で本塁打を放つのは初めてだ。先月１０日、初の対外試合となった阪神戦に続くデビュー戦での１発。鮮烈な印象だけでなく、記録にも新たな１ページを加えた。
