中日先発の山井が、年またぎの“完全試合達成”を逃した。８回パーフェクトで交代した昨年１１月の日本シリーズ第５戦以来となった日本ハム戦。 “２５人目の打者”となる先頭の森本は二飛に仕留めたが、続く田中賢に右翼線への二塁打を浴びた。「別に意識していませんよ」。この日は２回３安打１失点の内容で「次は長い回をしっかりやりたい」と話した。
