Go to the Lions' Official Player Registry and go to the infielder section. I've investigated, and probably you have too, that in each part for the players in the official web sites they have photos of most of the players.

I'm assuming that this is in response to my appeal for player photos for my Player Meikan (Registry).

The problem with gathering photos from the official sites is that those photos are copyrighted material. I cannot use them without express permission. I've tried before and was told that I need a special license from NPB (costing more than I can afford) before anyone would even consider allowing me to use any of their photos. What I need are photos taken from ordinary people who don't claim copyright on them.

I can understand and respect that teams want to make money on their images, and that they copyright them for protection. I have no problem with that. (Patenting computer algorithms, on the other hand, I am strongly opposed to as it stifles innovation. [Note that I don't use the word "innovation" in the sense that Microsoft uses the word - which has come to mean "give it a pretty front end and claim it as their own invention," but rather the ability to make incremental extensions and refinements to software concepts.]) Contrary to what large corporations and the press likes to think, we hackers (often used by the press negatively to mean "crackers") are not a bunch of pirates and thieves. And I will not use copyrighted photos on my site.

Thank you for the suggestion, though.

Ok, I'll just keep on working on it. Thanks for letting me know.
