In 2000, Ohka became the second pitcher in International League history to throw a perfect game. He was with the Pawtucket Red Sox at the time.

Tomo Ohka pitched a perfect game for the Pawtucket Red Sox on June 1st, 2000. My son, Chris Boberg, was the home plate umpire who called this game.
