Where are They Now? Kumagai, Tokuda/Cho

Where are They Now? Kumagai, Tokuda/Cho
I would like to know what happened to Ryo Kumagai, who spend two years in the Red Sox system a few years ago? I remember one year he was with the Major League club as a non-roster invitee during spring training.

Also, there is a player named Masayoshi Tokuda who signed with the Braves. His birthday is July 11, 1983 and he's from Osaka. I'm trying to follow his career, but I believe he goes by the name Jang Ji Cho now. Does anyone know why he goes by a completely different name now, and it sounds more Korean than Japanese?

Might be a Zai-Nichi Japanese (Korean born in Japan).

According to this page [The Baseball Cube], Kumagai hasn't played 2003 when he split time with A Augusta, A Sarasota, and AA Portland.
