Daisuke Matsuzaka threw his first career complete game in the
major leagues Monday, holding the Detroit Tigers to a run and six
hits to help the Boston Red Sox to a 7-1 victory.

He pitched like a multi-million dollar pitcher. Fans stood up the whole of the 9th inning. Bars that had the game on TV sold lots of beer. Nobody left until the game was done.

All around, good playing by the Soxes; except J. Drew - he is the weak link in this championship team.

The Red Sox pitching staff is great right now. The Yankees will fall out of contention by Memorial Day.
