Igawa Wins in Minors
Kei Igawa earned the victory in a Scranton/Wilkes-Barre win over Buffalo on Monday night, August 6. The final score was 6-4.

Igawa (3-3) gave up four runs on five hits and a walk while striking out eight in six innings.

4 runs in 6 innings is not really a quality start. Especially for someone who is making 5 million a year.

Actually I would like to see him get the number of innings per start up. That's what concerns me. Has he pitched into the 7th inning this year? I'm almost certain he has not seen the 8th so far - other than the non-start against the Red Sox where he came on in relief.
