Nomo To Play in Venezuelan Winter League
Longtime pitcher, Hideo Nomo [Baseball Reference] says he plans on playing in the Venezuelan Winter League as an attempt to make it back to the Major Leagues.

Nomo has been rehabilitating his injured right elbow for two years. He last appeared in a professional game in 2006, while a member of the AAA Charlotte Knights (the AAA affiliate of the Chicago White Sox). In his 11 year MLB career, Nomo has a 123-109 record with a 4.21 ERA in 320 games.
