This is just to introduce an article that I found interesting [Link - Seattle Times]. I found it iteresting in that it dares to address corollaries of WBC that other WBC related artcles didn't.

While I think a straight up MLB champion vs. NPB champion wouldn't be good, I think maybe having the Japanese champion or top 2 (or possibly the Korean champion) play against the NL and AL wildcard winners in a play-in format to get into the playoffs would be best. Maybe even every team would travel to the other country once or twice a year for games that count during the regular season
