Monkeys sign P Robert Boothe
The Lamigo Monkeys have signed 27 year old right handed pitcher Robert Boothe. Boothe, who is half Japanese, pitched for Asia University before signing a minor league contract with the Los Angeles Dodgers. This year he was playing for the Niigata Albirex Baseball Club in the independent Baseball Challenge League.

The Monkeys have released P Ben Snyder. He was 0-2 with 1 save and a 13.50 ERA in 5 games.
