Lions Sign P Seth McClung
The President 7-Eleven Lions have signed 32 year old right handed pitcher Seth "Big Red" McClung. The former Major League veteran of six seasons was playing in Mexico with the Sultanes de Monterrey this season where he posted a 1.69 ERA in 13 relief appearances.

P Ronald Bay (4-3, 5.40 ERA in 7 games) was released.

Meanwhile 31 year old right hander J.D. Durbin is trying out with the Lamigo Monkeys. In 2012 he was 14-9 with a 4.48 ERA in 28 games with the Lancaster Barnstormers of the independent Atlantic League. He has played two seasons in MLB and in 2010 appeared in three games with the Fukuoka Softbank Hawks.
