Mario Encarnacion Dead at the Age of 30
Former major leaguer Mario Encarnacion (Makoto Cobras - CPBL) was found dead in his bed this morning by team staff. The cause of death is yet to be determined.

There were no signs of a break in, and there are no wounds or signs of struggle found on Mario. At the moment the team is saying the cause of death could be a stomach flu from which Mario appearantly had been suffering. Some speculate that it might have to do with the use of performance enhancement drugs.

Mario served a two-week suspension earlier this season for failing a league drug test.

Any additional news would be greatly appreciated. I understand Miguel Tejada has dispatched two attorneys to Taiwan from the United States to aid in any investigation and to return the body to his family in the Dominican Republic. Miguel is godfather to his 3 year old child.
