Pawapuro Difficulty

Pawapuro Difficulty
I'm an active player of Pawapuro (mostly the Super NES and GameBoy Advance Pawapuro through emulation), but there's one problem: I CAN'T HIT!!!

I've tried everything, and I still can't bash out base hits or get a few runs across. I can't manufacture runs since the CPU adapts to everything too fast, meaning I can't lay down a bunt or steal.

If there's anybody out there that can help me, it would be much appreciated. It's not that I don't want to win, it's that I REALLY hate losing.
