Explanation For Terrible Stats In PawaMajor 2
I was playing Pawapuro 11 Chou Ketteiban and finished the All Japan Success Mode once again. While watching the credits, I noticed some very big differences from when I watched the credits for PawaMajor 2. There is also a difference in Pawapuro 13 and 14, though I only watched the ending credits on YouTube, since I couldn't ever see myself finishing Success on those games again.

The difference is the number of people they have assigned to the teams for player data. In Pawapuro 11, they assigned two people per team to get accurate player data. Despite a couple terrible flaws per year, like Sekimoto with Average Hitter ability, they were never as plentiful as in recent games. Pawapuro 13 and 14 cut those numbers in half and only had one person assigned to each team. PawaMajor 2, from what I can tell, only has one person assigned to take care of player data for all 30 MLB teams. That's a big change from two people per team.

1 person? O.o

There are so many more teams in MLB than NPB...

This just lends credence to the theory that that one person just took the players' numerical stats from last year and ran them through a computer program to generate in-game abilities.

And by "numerical stats," I mean they probably only used AVG, R, and RBI and HR, which is even worse. But this isn't the place to extol sabermetrics.
