Baseball Mogul Japanese Database
I have created a NPB roster patch for Baseball Mogul. You can download NPB 2010 here:
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=KZ21EDDZ

You can also download a fully functional version of Baseball Mogul 2008 (shareware) here:
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=CA6R607G

Compatible with Baseball Mogul 2008, 2009 and 2010.

Another roster patch, titled NPB 2010 Opening Day, will be released in March will new foreign players, updated salaries and complete 25-man rosters for each team. This version still has a few holes.

12 teams will play 144 games each and the pennant winners from each league will battle it out in the Japan Series in October.

Updates for 2010:
*Statistics
*Pitch ratings and fastball velocity for pitchers
*Vital statistics for all players
*Stadium dimensions
*Cities
*Lefty/righty splits

In the Play By Play screen you can choose General Manager, Manager or Player mode. As a General Manager just sit back and watch the action unfold. As a Manager you get to call the shots - pinch run, bring in a reliever, pinch hit, etc. As a Player you can choose which pitch to throw and where and guess a pitch when you are batting.

If you are a fan of text based simulations this game is for you! You don't need to wait until July when Pro Yakyu Spirits 7
comes out. Take control of your team from opening day on April 1!

Support

In order to view Japanese fonts you need to have an East Asian language pack installed. Go to Start - Control Panel -
Regional and Language Options - Advanced and choose Chinese (PRC).

If you need to install an East Asian language pack (it comes with your Windows CD) go to the Language tab.

Troubleshooting

The Amateur Draft occurs on but, since I don't want those fictional players, I have to manually delete them from each team on that date.

This version of Baseball Mogul doesn't not support playoffs for this format so there will be no Climax Series.

Please feel free to contribute and make this game better!

For this November 13 update I have added new signing 1B Kim Tae-Gyu (金 泰均)to the Marines. I have also added P Darrell Rasner (ダレル・ラズナー) to the Eagles. He also re-signed by the team. I'm also updating salary information as they come along.

I last made a roster patch for BM in 2004 and 2005. I don't think I will have time to do any more after this year, especially if my business gets a deal with JETRO.
