Darvish earns Sawamura Award
The man who started out as a suspended under-aged smoker is burning his name into baseball's history books.

Yu Darvish, the 21-year-old ace of the Hokkaido Nippon Ham Fighters, on Monday was honored as the Sawamura Award winner for 2007, edging out Chiba Lotte Marines lefty Yoshihisa Naruse in what the selection committee called a "photo finish."
