M. Nakamura asked to join Aussie national team at 2009 WBC
Right-handed pitcher Micheal Nakamura, who was traded during the off-season from the Nippon Ham Fighters to the Yomiuri Giants, said Wednesday he has been asked to join the Australian national team for the 2009 World Baseball Classic.
