Kei Igawa Website
As a postscript to earlier comments on Kei Igawa's terse Sports Illustrated interview, it's worth noting that the pitcher has his own website, www.k-igawa.com, where he writes a blog about his recent experiences in New York City, showing a much more thoughtful side. It's in Japanese only, but not difficult to translate.

I'm a huge Yankees fan and when kei Igawa struggled it was very disappointing. To see him come alive and dominate as he did in his relief appearance was a breath of fresh air. Kei, keep it up and good luck with the Yankees.

About

This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.

It is my sincere hope that once you learn a bit about what we're about here that you will join the community of contributors.
