Joey Dawley in CPBL

Discussion in the Around Asia forum
Joey Dawley in CPBL
35 year old right handed pitcher Joey Dawley has signed with the Brother Elephants. In 2005 Dawley spent time with the Portland Beavers and Iowa Cubs of the Triple-A Pacific Coast League where he posted unspectacular numbers. He was signed after pitching for the Lancaster Barnstormers of the independent Atlantic League.

The Elephants released Brian Rodaway who was 2-3 with a 4.14 ERA in 6 games.

In my opinion the CPBL definitely has to sign younger players rather than 37 year old Pembertons. They make the league look bad.

Yeah, I agree. What I don't seem to understand is why so many foreign players are put on the line so quick, also while they're doing so well. It reminds me of Izzy Alcantara last year.

Dawley [Baseball-Reference] is another blast from the past. He has a 0-0 record with a 10.91 ERA in 8 games.
