I am pleased to see that the only sensible decision was reached. Orix needs to really look at their organization and competence very carefully.
There was mention of needing to tighten the procedures with regard to foreign players (Daily Yomiuri - 28th February). Perhaps ensuring that all documents are presented to the players in English as well as Japanese would be a good start.

This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.

I just read in Yahoo! Japan Sports news that the decision had been made. Powell is to be able to participate from March 20th, Opening Day.
I am glad that the NPB and Commissioners Office were able to come to a speedy decision into this matter. Kudos to you!
