Losing Stars Gives Rise to New Stars

Discussion in the Bayside West: Yokohama forum
Losing Stars Gives Rise to New Stars
It's been a couple of weeks, but this is the original English version of my recent article that appeared in Baseball Magazine. I ended up having to cut some sections in order to make it fit the required size, something I've never had to do web publishing since 1995. Nonetheless, even without the cuts I fear that this is my worst article of the three I've done so far. My heart just isn't into the topic of discussing players heading to the Majors, which is what the focus of the magazine was. I promise to make up for the poor quality of this one with my next article, which has already been submitted, and I'm feeling much better about.

Nonetheless, I've posted it here to Google+. Not my best work, but you may find something of interest in it.
About

This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.

It is my sincere hope that once you learn a bit about what we're about here that you will join the community of contributors.
